How It Works:

1) Read over the rest of this page before paying – Some projects call for bigger budget mastering and we think you should consider that if you’ve got the option.

2) Use the Add to Cart buttons and the your Shopping Cart (far right). Update the Quantity for the number of tracks you’d like to have us master.

3) Once we’re notified of payment, we’ll set up a secure login to our server for you to upload your mixes. This will require an ftp client we suggest Filezilla (Mac/Win) or Cyberduck (Mac).

4) We’ll get in contact with you and ask you to forward us your receipt so we can verify your payment.  More importantly – we’ll ask for any instructions you’d like -  any input is welcome, and we’ll let you know what we can do.

5) Within 3-5 Business Days we should have your masters finished and ready for download. (We’ll create 44.1k/16Bit wav files).

6) You have a week from the time we sent you notice of completion to ask for changes.

Note: You’ll be able to enter the number of tracks after clicking “Add to Cart”

0-5 Minutes – $20/track

5-10Minutes – $25/track

Simple Mastering Includes:

1) Overall Leveling- We’ll bring your tracks up to release levels and minimize the distortion this process causes as much as we can.

2) Tone Adjustments – Bring bass and treble under control and help makeup for less-than-ideal mixing setups.

3) Fades – We can add fade in/outs at desired times.

4) One free Re-Master if you’re not satisfied with our first attempt. (Sorry more than that and we’ll have to charge.)

5) You Master will be heard by two different sound guys on at least two different systems.  We’ll do our best to make sure you mixes translate from the bedroom to the club.

Simple Mastering Does NOT Include:

1) Magically fixing MAJOR mix problems. We will always do the best we can, but some problems can’t be “fixed” by mastering. Major buzzes/hums/noise often have to be fixed in the mix phase – when you can still isolate problems and zap them.

2) Making things louder than everything else with NO distortion.  If you want ridiculous levels and absolutely clean tracks then you’re going to be disappointed because mastering of that nature requires much bigger budgets (analog gear, tape machines, etc.) We can get things good an loud, but Mastering at a budget of $10-20 requires certain compromises – usually either in level or distortion.
