Maschine 1.1 Out Now

NI_MaschineNative Instruments has released the 1.1 update for Maschine. It’s a free upgrade for all registered users and expands and improves some capabilities of Maschine:

  • MIDI In/Out: I guess this is a new feature? I always thought this thing had MIDI built-in. Guess I was wrong! Anyhow, now you can connect the Maschine via a MIDI cable or use it to trigger an external MIDI device.
  • Audio Export: Dragging and dropping a pattern from Maschine into a DAW no converts the pattern to an audio file.
  • Switch Scene via MIDI: Trigger different scenes via MIDI notes in your sequencer.
  • Loading Groups Without Patterns: Audition sounds and groups without the need to draw any sort of pattern within Maschine.
  • REX File Support: Maschine now supports chopped-up REX files.
  • Expanded Hardware Control: Adds a whole bunch of enhanced functionality (including advanced volume control and panning).

Some impressive new features in this 1.1 update. Now more than ever there’s a reason to pick up a Maschine.
