Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol X1
Native Instruments announced a new controller for their ever popular Traktor DJ platform. The Kontrol X1 is a MIDI controller made to compliment a traditional timecode Traktor setup. It contains ways to cue, manage FX, EQ, and everything else that you’d expect a controller like this to have.
The Kontrol X1 will also ship and be compatible with Serato Scratch Live out of the box. There will even be an SSL overlay for the unit itself. And, being a MIDI controller, it can be used in just about any DAW/DJ software you may be using.
The Kontrol X1 will ship with Traktor LE. It’ll be available in February 2010 for $229. There will be an optional carrying case/stand for the X1 for $49.
