Sanjay and I have written about this website before, but in case you’re not sure what it is, here’s a quick intro:

Indaba Music is an online service made for musicians to connect with other musicians via the Internet. You can start sessions, record parts for a song, upload said parts, and then discuss them and even mix them (which is what I’m getting into with this post).

Indaba has had a web-based DAW environment since I started playing around with it, but apparently they’ve just launched a brand new iteration of it. It’s now powered by Java and is being described as “GarageBand in your browser.” Pretty impressive. Watch the video for more.
