Musikmesse 09: Numark Round-up
Numark introduced two new rack-mounted DJ-specific CD players this year at Musikmesse. The first one (pictured above), is an update to their famous CDN88 series. The CDN88 MP3 adds MP3 playback capabilites as well as an expanded text display so that DJs can more quickly browse through their music catalog. Otherwise, it’s pretty much the same as the CDN88.
The CDN22 MK5 is a dual CD player meant for mobile DJs and permanent installs. It plays CDs and CDRs, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t play MP3s. It has stereo RCA outputs as well as a SPIDF out. Otherwise, it’s pretty much your typical rackmount CD player.
Both players will be availabe third quarter 2009 at prices to be announced.
